RN-LTC-Sedona-AZ

Provides and coordinates nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Administers medications and treatments, develops care plans and supervises licensed practical nurses and nursing assistants. Ensures care meets regulatory standards.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing:

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience:
  Preferred

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice:
  Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification:
  Required

• Assess residents on admission and ongoing, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Supervise, delegate to and provide clinical direction for LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants.
• Evaluate resident response to interventions and revise the plan of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support regulatory survey readiness.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapy, families and the interdisciplinary team.
