Key Responsibilities of the Greenskeeper I:
- Perform general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment.
- Rake and maintain sand bunkers.
- Operate small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing.
- Prepare soil beds for sod, seed and vegetative material.
- Involve tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
- Assist with golf course set-up procedures.
- Operate utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
- Perform skilled duties related to experience (pruning, plugging, etc.).
- Operate equipment safely and be aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
- Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
- Perform other duties as required.
