Agricultural Equipment Operator

Job Overview

Join Duncan Family Farms, LLC as an Agricultural Equipment Operator and support our high‑quality herb, leafy green and crop production.

• Operate tractors, planters, sprayers, cultivators, and other mechanized equipment to till, plant, cultivate, harvest, and irrigate crops.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems, water lines, drip tubing, and irrigation pipes.
• Perform field tasks such as weeding, thinning, pruning, fertilizing, pest control, grading, sorting, packing, and loading harvested produce.
• Assist with farm building and field maintenance, fence repair, and hoop‑house upkeep.
• Operate company vehicles to transport crops, tools, and personnel; maintain a clean driving record.
• Abide by all safety rules, pesticide warning/re‑entry postings, and general farm safety procedures.
• Maintain equipment, restrooms, lunch areas, and general sanitation of the field and work spaces.

• Minimum 3 months experience operating farm equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with herb and leafy‑green production.
• Ability to perform duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent comprehension of instructions and effective verbal communication with supervisors.
• Clean driving record (no major moving violations such as DUI or reckless driving).
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to obtain one if required.

Standard workweek: 8.5 hours per day, Monday–Saturday. Depending on crop conditions, additional 12‑hour days may be requested. Salary range: $70,000–$75,000.
