The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service and will support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks.

• Provide high level of service to all retail and installer customers; support store management in assigned tasks.
• Greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist in selection of merchandise.
• Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
• Complete assigned company training relevant to position.
• Provide excellent service to customers calling the store by answering calls according to company policy; look up parts and quote prices; recommend premium and related items; and offer the Low-Price Guarantee.
• Maintain and secure the cash drawer; accept cash and/or checks; accurately make change; process credit card transactions.
• Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
• Assist with daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
• Perform various daily operational tasks, including returns processing, stock adjustments, and inventory cycle counts.
• Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training and company requirements are met.
• Perform in-store services for customers where allowed by state/local laws (e.g., install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, diagnose vehicle issues, replace headlight capsules).
• Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate and driving eligibility requirements are met.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Required:
  
  Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences; ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service; ability to multitask between in-store and phone interactions.
• Desired:
  Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service; ASE certification; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
