Job DescriptionIf you have a passion for flying and want to work in an environment where every second counts, we’re hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services to Med‑Trans customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.
This posting is for multiple Visual Flight Rules (VFR) positions, and we have many other opportunities available. By applying through this posting, we can move your application to the open location of your choosing. This is not a Float Pilot position.
Compensation- Starting Salary Range: $87,019 – $95,720
- Geographic Modifier: Up to 27% depending on location
- Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000
- Retention Bonus (after 3 years): $40,000
- On‑Duty Housing: At most locations
- Schedule: 7/7 at most locations
- Work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and Med‑Trans requirements, and maintain aircraft cleanliness.
- Maintain accurate MTC and regulatory documentation and records.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide shift‑change information to the next pilot and team, following protocol for recording Med‑Trans change‑board details.
- Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing training.
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
