About the RoleThis opportunity encompasses multiple Visual Flight Rules (VFR) positions, allowing you to choose the location that suits you best. Please note, this is not a Float Pilot position.
Compensation & BenefitsStarting Salary Range: $87,019 - $95,720
Geographic Modifier: Up to 27%, depending on location
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Retention Bonus: $40,000 after 3 years
On-Duty Housing: Available at most locations
Schedule: 7/7 at most locations
Your Responsibilities- Collaborate with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from various locations.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to all FAR and Med-Trans requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation and record-keeping for MTC and regulatory compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, and medical facilities.
- Provide detailed shift change information to the incoming pilot and team.
- Stay current with required certifications and ongoing training.
- Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate
- Helicopter instrument rating
- Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
- 2,000 Total Flight Hours
- 1,500 Helicopter Hours
- 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
- 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
- 200 Helicopter Night Flight Hours (Aided or Unaided)
