- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license
Provide physical therapy and related services for patients under the direction of a licensed physical therapist (PT) while maintaining positive interactions with facilities and clients in accordance with the principles and practices of physical therapy. Coordinate care plans, supervise rehab techs as required, and carry out case‑management responsibilities. Adhere to all state and federal regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Under the direction of a licensed PT, optimize functional abilities of patients.
- Build a strong physical therapy program.
- Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through continuing education and professional collaboration.
- Maintain a valid state license and stay informed of professional issues.
- Understand relevant payment models and treatment guidelines, delivering care within guidelines.
- Comply with infection control procedures and environmental safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively in English: reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending instructions, correspondence, charts, memos, and reports.
