Harvest Maintenance Lead

Maintenance Lead will direct the daily activities of and work directly with Maintenance Technicians within an assigned area. They will be responsible for setting an example for other team members with a continuous improvement mentality and perpetuating Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions, while maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production and ensuring the safest work environment possible.

• Understand and adhere to all HACCP, food safety, and GMP guidelines and policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Understand and enforce all Creekstone Farms safety requirements.
• Successfully complete and maintain required safety training.

• Monitor and participate in operations in assigned areas.
• During the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Lead fills in for the Supervisor.
• Provide guidance, support and professional development to technicians.
• Assist in scheduling work according to priorities and direction from the Superintendent and Supervisor.
• Ensure that all technicians properly use warehouse processes.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor to develop needed training for all technicians.
• Assist in managing daily shift downtime reconciliation/action items.
• Ensure every position in the area of responsibility is properly staffed at the start of each shift.
• Manage team members’ break times to ensure rotations are followed and time is not exceeded.
• Follow the plant’s continuous improvement process and plan.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
