Maintenance Mechanic

• Set up, adjust, and maintain assigned equipment within a production area.
• Use a continuous improvement mentality to support the Creekstone Proud culture through attitude and actions.
• Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and test equipment to verify functionality.
• Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum quality production.
• Review production schedules and, when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, change over equipment to new sizes or perform scheduled maintenance.
• Clear jams and set aside product for inspection or rework.
• Develop and promote positive working relationships with Operations, QA, and other departments.
• Examine, test, and measure product from assigned equipment for quality specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and inspections of assigned equipment, report findings to the supervisor, and take appropriate action.
• Analyze and document causes of production delays on daily production reports.
• Notify the maintenance department or supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions, corrective actions taken, quality problems, or supplies needed.
• Contribute to a positive, safe, and clean work environment by taking initiative and serving as an example.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
