Driver | 2nd Shift | Class A | Kan Pak | Arkansas City, KS

Golden State Foods is seeking a reliable Driver - Class CDL A to operate diesel-powered tractor‑trailer on the 1:30 p‑9:30 p shift. The driver will transport raw materials and finished goods between our warehouse and manufacturing facility locally.

Perform daily transportation functions, maintain driver logs, inspect vehicles, and adhere to DOT regulations. Flexibility to work weekends, nights and holidays is required.

• Operate diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer and maintain accurate driver logs.
• Inspect trucks for defects before and after trips.
• Adhere to company rules, safety regulations and company safety priorities.
• Pick up and return pallets, shells and assigned product at each delivery location.
• Operate forklift / powered industrial truck as needed.
• Coordinate Kan Pak quality activities and operations to meet quality, food safety, regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations and maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Driving record must meet Kan Pak policy requirements.
• Ability to work weekends, nights and holidays as directed by the business.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 pounds.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public and understand highway signs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience with a WMS/IC process and ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment safely.

Regular sit and talk or hear, stand and walk, climb in/out of a diesel‑powered tractor‑trailer, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch, open/close roll and swing doors on trailers up to 20 times per shift.
