MBChB Speciality Lead – Psychiatry (0.1 FTE)
Join the University of Chester’s new MBChB Graduate Entry Programme and contribute to the development and delivery of psychiatric education.
An opportunity exists for a suitably experienced Specialist Consultant or Speciality & Associate Speciality (SAS) Doctor within psychiatry to oversee the development and implementation of teaching, learning and assessment in the psychiatric speciality for the MBChB programme which commenced in 2024. You will be responsible for overseeing placement management and quality monitoring, coordinating educational activities with other staff, and ensuring students receive high‑quality secondary care placements.
You will also support the Chester Medical School’s teaching and administration, promote medical education, and ideally be an experienced Secondary Care Clinician with previous teaching or training experience with medical students or doctors in training.
