Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas (UA Cossatot) began in DeQueen, Arkansas in 1975 as an Arkansas Vocational-Technical School, designed to provide relevant workforce training for four counties in southwest Arkansas. Summary ofJob Duties
The Recruiter/Secondary Advisor works under the direct supervision of the Director of High School Programs and is responsible for recruiting prospective students, serving as a substitute teacher in the Secondary Career Center, assisting students with the admissions process, and sharing responsibility for campus events. This position plays a key role in supporting student success and is required to participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications- Associate degree.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to adapt quickly in a variety of settings.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record; travel is required.
- Ability to pass national background and child maltreatment checks.
