• Ensure punctuality for all courses.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions, both inside and outside the classroom.
• Collaborate on the development and revision of the nursing program’s philosophy, organizational framework, policies, and procedures.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing curricula.
• Foster an intellectual environment that encourages critical thinking.
• Select and maintain appropriate clinical learning environments, including labs and check-offs.
• Utilize effective evaluation techniques to assess teaching effectiveness and student performance.
• Stay current with trends in nursing education and practice.
• Maintain expertise through ongoing professional development.
• Participate in faculty and committee assignments, including monthly faculty meetings.
• Demonstrate and uphold high standards of professional nursing practice.
• Contribute to recruitment, academic counseling, and program advising.
• Maintain accurate student records.
• Collaborate with faculty as part of a team-based approach to teaching.
• Keep educational equipment and resources up to date.
• Fulfill teaching responsibilities in both online and traditional tracks.
• Complete required clinical hours.
• Ensure student-centered learning in all courses.
• Post weekly coursework and learning materials before the scheduled content week.
• Complete all grading promptly for both theory and practicum courses.

Minimum Qualifications

• Have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Applicants currently enrolled in a BSN program will be considered.
• Have an unencumbered Registered Nursing license with privilege to practice in Arkansas.
• Have a minimum of two years of clinical healthcare experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Have a Master’s of Science in Nursing.
• Nurse educator experience.
• Higher education experience.

Salary Information: $56,000 - $60,000
