YourNew Role
As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work in one of the following locations:
Binghamton, NY;
Syracuse, NY; or Charlotte, NC.
- Design electrical power distribution (medium/low voltage) systems, grounding, lighting, fire alarm, communication and other industrial systems.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of industry codes (NFPA, NESC, ANSI/IEEE, energy and building codes) and produce code analysis reports.
- Lead a team of electrical designers and engineers, coordinating work into final design deliverables.
- Mentor and develop technical skills of other team members.
- Act as client interface for the electrical discipline, represent Ramboll, and lead other disciplines in design programs.
- Lead project management activities for small to mid‑scale electrical projects, including RFP development, fee estimates, client presentations, and project representation.
- Support construction projects: cost estimating, phasing/scheduling, site inspections, punch list development, and shop drawing review.
- Prepare technical reports to define projects and provide clients with technical direction.

Qualifications- BSEE or equivalent, committed to lifelong learning.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- PE license required.
- 2+ years leading a team of design professionals in a consulting engineering environment.
