Mercedes-Benz Vans is looking for a Finance/Accounting intern. The applicant filling this position will handle a wide range of important duties. We value education and want to invite current students to work with us as they work towards their educational goals. Our main objective is to give students experience and real world issues organizations face each day. We believe in working with our interns on a work schedule that allows them to focus on school and homework.

We also believe in paying our interns competitive wages. This position will allow the team member to gain insight to the workings of factory planning and engineering processes. This internship will expose the team member to all levels in the organization to assist in building a resume that will allow the team member to become competitive in the job market.

• Assist with month-end financial activities
• May assist in the analysis, investigation and research supporting the needs of organization's financial planning
• May assist with classifying, examining, and analyzing accounting records
• Support Senior team members with daily tasks under direct supervision
• Participate in regularly scheduled team meetings
• Complete special projects as needed
• Carries out other related responsibilities and ad hoc projects as assigned to support operational effectiveness.

• Applicants should be Business, Finance, Economics or Accounting majors in pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills
• Applicants should be eager, driven, focused, hard-working individuals that are ready to assist a growing company with handling a complex multi-million dollar project.
• The individual should be self-motivated and interested in adding value and making a difference within an organization

• This position will be onsite in Charleston, SC
• Hourly rates hourly pay rate of $20.00hr for our internship program
• MBV does not offer assisted living or a relocation package for this assignment
• The start date of this position November 2026 for an internship duration of 6 months
