Overview

As the Net Suite Technical Lead & Administrator, you will serve as the technical owner of our financial systems ecosystem, with Net Suite at its core. This hands-on role will manage system configurations, integrations, security, and overall system health across tools such as Net Suite Planning & Budgeting (NSPB), Avalara, Rillion, Flo Qast, and banking platforms. You will partner closely with Finance, Tax, and Digital teams to balance day-to-day support with long-term scalability, automation, and optimization initiatives.

This is a high-impact role requiring both deep technical proficiency and a systems architecture mindset.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary Net Suite Administrator, responsible for configurations, roles/permissions, saved searches, workflows, dashboards, bundles, and sandbox environments.
  • Own technical design, implementation/configuration, and oversight of all integrated financial systems (e.g., NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, Flo Qast, banking tools).
  • Design, scope, and implement system enhancements, automations, and integrations in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Support Finance and Accounting with reporting, compliance & audits, and automation across key cycles (procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, month-end close).
  • Manage testing, release management, documentation, and training for Net Suite and related systems.
  • Ensure system governance, data integrity, and security across all financial platforms.
  • Provide timely user support by managing tickets, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with vendors as needed.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance: perform regular maintenance (backups, security patches), and stay current on Net Suite releases and best practices to maximize system reliability and scalability.
Education & Experience Required
  • Embrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek Renewables.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Net Suite administration in a multi-entity or global environment.
  • Deep understanding of core Net Suite modules:
General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Projects, Fixed Assets.
  • Strong proficiency with saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Familiarity with adjacent systems such as NSPB, Avalara, Rillion, and Flo Qast.
  • Proven experience delivering system enhancements and managing change requests.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
Experience Preferred
  • Experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
  • Understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms (Celigo, Boomi, Mulesoft) and APIs.
  • Working knowledge of Suite Script, SQL, or Net Suite Analytics.
Location

The preferred locations are Durham, NC or Washington, DC. The team operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office requirements of three days per week.

Compensation

Salary range is $100,000-$150,000 plus bonus and benefits. Compensation may vary based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

  • 15 days of Paid Time Off, accrual up to 20 days, 11 observed holidays
  • 401(k) Match
  • Wellness stipend, family planning stipend, and generous parental leave
