Account Manager – Private Client Insurance, Private Client Team
Windermere Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support our growing High Net Worth and Coastal client base.
Responsibilities- Manage established book of existing and onboarding of new clients.
- Resolve client questions, requests and issues with urgency and enthusiasm.
- Cross‑sell / offer lines of coverage that are not currently written.
- Stay abreast of changes in clients’ lifestyle that impact their risk profile and coverages.
- Conduct annual reviews of clients’ insurance programs and recommend appropriate changes in products and services to meet client needs.
- Market and negotiate renewals for existing clients.
- Maintain relationships with multiple insurance company and broker representatives to competitively negotiate and obtain quotes, binders, endorsements, etc.
- Maintain knowledge of carrier products and services to advise and counsel on complex risks; be proficient in rating procedures and platforms to support the client base.
- Check policies for accuracy and prepare client communication for delivery, invoices, summaries of insurance, certificates, , evidence of insurance, binders, endorsements, etc.
- Utilize the Epic/Applied system accurately and timely to meet agency SOP and client service standards.
- At least 3 years of recent Private Client Lines Account Management experience.
- High Net Worth and/or Coastal accounts experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in overall customer service.
- High School diploma; undergraduate degree preferred.
- Property & Casualty insurance agent’s license required.
- Professional designation (CISR/CIC/API/CPRM/CPIA/CRM/CPCU) preferred.
- Willingness to continue education is essential.
Required
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint);
Applied Epic proficiency preferred. - Ability to work with internal and external clients at all levels.
- High level of organization.
- High degree of self‑discipline and motivation.
- Ability to follow and develop processes and procedures to improve agency efficiency.
- Solution‑driven problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Detail‑oriented; ability to plan, manage expiration lists and related priorities.
- Ability to work independently, applying education and professional experience to achieve outstanding results.
- technical and cognitive abilities to ensure accuracy, precision, and high level of client service.
- Team player with a strong work ethic.
- Effective, professional verbal and written communication.
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment with ability to build and maintain relationships.
- High level of maturity and optimistic approach.
- Self‑starter with entrepreneurial approach and hands‑on experience.
