Restaurant General Manager

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring quality of service and customer satisfaction. The incumbent will create a positive work environment and dining experience for guests, while coaching, mentoring, and caring for the team.

• Meet or exceed budgets while focusing on cost of goods sold and EBITDA.
• Manage daily paperwork at the unit level, including sales reports, inventory, and unit inspection.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Order food and supplies needed to operate the unit on a daily basis.
• Hire, discipline, and develop staff; select a delegate to cover duties during absence.
• Hold monthly meetings with all employees to discuss relevant information.
• Establish a visible community presence to drive business and increase sales.
• Enforce brand standards, company policies, and procedures.
• Complete new‑hire paperwork, timesheets, payroll data, disciplinary actions, and personal data sheets correctly and timely.
• Train all staff levels on POS systems, back‑of‑house functions, and front‑of‑house operations.
• Notify the District Manager or VP of Operations of any hurdles.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent communication with all hourly associates.
• Ability to cover all shifts during normal operation.
• Current Serv Safe Certification.

$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.
