The location in Ashdown, Arkansas, is seeking talent to fill the position of Engineer, Process
. This job is full-time permanent.
- Provide technical expertise and leadership to the operations of either power & recovery OR pulp department. These positions will contribute to meet objectives for safety, environmental, quality, cost, and production performance. Develop and/or implement projects to meet SEQC&P objectives.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related Engineering field (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Paper Science, Industrial).
- Prefer the individual to have experience in power, pulp, or paper area of operations.
- A working knowledge of power, chemical recovery, and pulp mill operations is preferred.
- Competent user of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to work with a group as a team member and the capacity to lead by example while ensuring employee accountability to all department requirements. Candidate must be willing to work shift schedule as required.
You will be required to successfully complete a selection process that could include interviews, an employment background check, a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen, reference verifications, aptitude tests (for some positions), and a fitness-for-duty test (for some positions).
