Production Supervisors- Dumas AR night

Join Diamond Pet Foods as a Production Supervisor in Dumas, AR. This role is responsible for coordinating raw materials, machinery, and staffing to maximize investment returns while achieving production and packaging goals. The position is considered a "key" employee.

• Supervise daily workflow across production, packaging, warehouse, food safety, sanitation, and quality control teams.
• Minimize resource waste, including materials, product, employee time, and machine under-utilization.
• Assist in workload forecasting and planning for production and packaging departments.
• Enforce disciplinary policies and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards.
• Inspect products, verify conformance, and adjust machinery as needed.
• Maintain production schedules and estimate labor requirements.
• Promote safety policies, enforce regulations, and ensure employee adherence.
• Interpret job specifications, production changes, and work orders.
• Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment, and quality.
• Resolve work-related issues and motivate staff to meet goals.
• Maintain records of time and production data.
• Coordinate activities with other supervisors and assist in training staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience in food manufacturing or related industry involving food safety and production.
• Proven supervisory experience with a team of production employees.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is a plus.
• Computer literacy required.

• Stand 90%, sit 10% of the time.
• Ability to lift, carry, or move 50+ pounds.
• Routine pushing, pulling, stooping, walking, standing, and ladder climbing.
• Work primarily indoors (95%), with some outside transportation oversight.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

• Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
