Shelby Manufacturing, a Bunzl company, is hiring for a Production Worker - Cloth Cutter. This position is responsible for pulling orders, prepping cloths and dyes, as well as cutting cloths accordingly.

Required work schedule is Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm | Friday 7:00 am - 11:00 am.

This position is fully onsite at our Glenwood, AR location.

• Pull orders each evening for the next day
• Distribute leather and dyes; pick up daily
• Learn the different types of leathers and the correct dyes for each style of glove
• Weigh leathers and record
• Record the daily leather issued to and returned from Cutters
• Transport cut parts to the staging areas as required
• Provide coverage for Inspectors as needed
• Collect scrap leather and bale daily
• Stretch leather as needed
• Prepare plain blocks
• Bail cardboard for disposal or recycling
• Spread material appropriately
• Attain the appropriate dye(s)
• Cut cloth according to specifications
• Maintain accurate records of cloth usage
• Package cut parts in boxes and place in designated area

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Cutting experience is beneficial, though not required
• Demonstrated reliability and dependability
• Willingness to complete the Wonderlic assessment
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative
• Strong mathematical aptitude and numerical accuracy
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
