Salary: $16.00/hour + $1.00 shift differential
Shift: 12-hour schedules. Option 1:
Week 1 Sunday‑Wednesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am / Week 2 Sunday‑Tuesday 6:00 pm–6:00 am. Option 2:
Week 1 Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 pm–6:00 am / Week 2 Wednesday‑Saturday 6:00 pm–6:00 am.
- The packaging operator performs both bagging and baler operations as determined by the Shift Leads.
- Operate machinery safely and productively according to established guidelines.
- Assist other production areas as needed.
- Move and wrap completed products.
- Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a minimum of 7 hours per day.
- Assist Shift Leads in starting and stopping pellet mills.
- Communicate any moisture or material problems to the Shift Lead.
- Maintain a clean workstation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior forklift and production line experience preferred.
- Good eye, hand, and foot coordination required.
- Completion of company forklift training required.
- Ability to read and interpret scales.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to adjust weight and timing of baler and related equipment.
- Basic math calculation skills required.
