Description

We are looking for someone to join our team as a Restaurant line cook.

Our line cooks prepare all menu items, maintain a clean and organized station, and work as a team to provide exceptional meals and hospitality to our guests.

Alma is a nationally recognized fine dining restaurant owned by James Beard award winning chef Alex Roberts. We serve nourishing food inspired by the wonderful local farmers and suppliers that we work with. Our commitment and care in our food and hospitality make us one of the most popular restaurants in Minneapolis. We at Alma work hard to serve both our guests and our staff.

The line cook position is 4-5 shifts per week, 30 to 40hr/week. Open availability afternoons, evenings and weekends is a must. Previous restaurant experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Experience with working in a professional kitchen
  • Consistent time management and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail, including an ability to maintain a clean and safe station

  • Team player, able and willing to work in a collaborative restaurant and help other staff when they need it
  • The desire to learn
  • A curious and resilient approach to work
  • Physical stamina to lift 50lbs minimum and work 8-10 hour shifts on your feet
