- develop and maintain order controls for the department
- responsible for gross margin controls
- responsible for evaluating department and problem solving
- handles or assists in special bookings and orders of promotional and seasonal items
- trains personell in the areas of product knowledge and presentation
- acts to ensure that all guaranteed pricing of ad items or special sale items are received
- develops customer relationships and confidence through proper employee training
- responsible for required inventory turn within the dept.
- exercises technical knowledge when product integrity is in question
- assists in special in-store promotions as needed
- insures performance level requirements (productivity)
- insures that controlable expenses are witin the required level
- responsible for apc (ad profit controls)
- responsible for the training and coordination of all daily duties of other met department employees either personally or by making sure tech help is provided.
