This position requires on‑call support outside of regular working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Shift adjustments may be necessary to meet production demands.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities (Essential Functions)- Work in a safe and orderly manner and obey plant, department, and area rules and regulations, proactively encouraging other team members to do so.
- Obtain, maintain, and wear or use all necessary safety equipment as directed by work instructions or area supervisor.
- Attend shift, department and plant meetings in a timely manner as directed by supervisor.
- Construct, install, modify, and repair all types of plumbing and fixtures including potable water, drain, waste, vent, refrigeration, steam, and gas.
- Install, repair, and maintain various hydraulic/pneumatic systems; check and adjust controls, gauges, and valves to achieve proper flow control and/or pressure.
- Work from blueprints, CAD/CAM layouts, sketches, models, and verbal instructions.
- Maintain process integrity with proper documentation and observance of process records.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area at all times.

Educational Skills and Experience- High School diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or recognized equivalent.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English sufficient to perform the following:
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervision.
- Read and comprehend process instructions.
- Read and interpret analog and digital gauges.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and CAD/CAM drawings.
- Read and interpret written standards from equipment manufacturers.
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in the industrial pipe fitting/plumbing field or a Journeyman’s license with associated apprenticeship completion.
- Basic understanding of fasteners and their use, function, and installation.
- Technical understanding of plumbing systems and components.
- Ability to use pipe cutting, threading, and bending equipment.
- Ability to perform basic welding, brazing, and soldering of pipes and metal fixtures.
- Must satisfactorily pass a written comprehension test and mechanical aptitude evaluation.
Must own and maintain a complimentary set of hand tools sufficient to perform all duties presently required and be willing to obtain replacement/additional hand tools as required. Employer will supply and maintain any required tooling deemed special or of extremely limited use.

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, explosives, and vibration. Eye protection, approved steel-toe safety shoes, hearing protection, and protection from wet and/or humid conditions; toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme cold are required. Noise level is usually loud.
- Vision correctable to 20/20 with normal color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
- Repetitively lift and move up to 25 lbs unaided.
- Stand or sit for up to 3 hours at a time.
- Frequently kneel, crouch, bend, or extend reach as required.
- Ascend and descend stairs.
- Grasp and feel small parts.

Hourly Rate: $29.33 – $39.27
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
