We are searching for a team member who is experienced in facilities maintenance or handyman services for the R&R facilities in Gravette, Arkansas. To be an effective handyman, you will be skilled and hard-working, with outstanding problem-solving abilities. Skillful hands, good physical stamina, and strong technical knowledge are important parts of a successful candidate's talents.

• Perform grounds maintenance such as garden and yard upkeep, trimming, landscaping, edging, mowing lawn, collecting trash, etc.
• Indoor and outdoor facilities maintenance.
• Perform monthly maintenance and safety checks in buildings, machinery, and equipment.
• Perform maintenance and light repairs.
• Detect and report the need for major maintenance repairs.
• Assist with general cleaning as needed.
• Comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain maintenance records as required by City, State, and EPA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.

The physical demands of this position include lifting up to 75 lbs repeatedly, bending, squatting, sitting, standing, and walking for long periods of time. These tasks are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Based on the above essential functions this job is a safety sensitive job function.

• Experience in maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
• Creative problem solving, ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Ability to transport, handle and/or lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work from standing, sitting, kneeling and stooping positions.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (if needed).
• Ability to always maintain safety while on the job.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2+ years of handyman experience.
• One or more years of experience in construction preferred.
