Summary

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of our account opening experiences across all channels (online, mobile, in-branch). This role will define the product strategy, manage the product roadmap, and drive prioritization of features and enhancements that improve customer acquisition, onboarding efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Vision:
    Define and communicate a clear product vision for account opening and file maintenance experiences aligned with business goals; stay informed on industry trends, customer expectations, and regulatory changes impacting account onboarding.
  • Roadmap & Prioritization:
    Own and maintain the product roadmap for account opening flows and platforms across consumer, business, and specialty accounts; collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
  • Product Development:
    Lead requests with our development team and vendors through the product lifecycle from ideation to launch; write detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Customer Experience & Optimization:
    Continuously analyze user behavior, conversion metrics, and feedback to identify friction points and opportunities; champion a seamless, intuitive, and compliant onboarding experience across digital and physical channels.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    Partner with marketing, sales, compliance, and operations to ensure alignment and successful product delivery; communicate plans, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership.

    Risk Management:

    Ensure all account opening flows meet applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., KYC, AML, CIP); collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address risk and policy changes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in banking or fintech.
  • Experience with agile methodologies and product management tools.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of managing digital onboarding or account opening products.
  • Strong understanding of banking regulations related to customer onboarding; experience with identity verification, fraud prevention, and digital document capture.
  • Familiarity with core banking systems, APIs and third-party onboarding platforms; data-driven mindset with experience in funnel optimization.
