After School Program Teachers

Overview

Arlington Public Schools is looking for people to join our after-school. If you are interested in being part of an environment where the children love to spend time and the teachers are engaged with the students and get to create thier own curriculum please apply. We are not just another after-school. We are mentors and friends to the students. We are part of the the school and supported by the teachers and administrators in the building.

We have an environment that gives children the structure to be able to try new things and feel safe. We make a difference in our students  lives

• Science teachers
• Music teachers
• Physical Education teachers
• History teachers
• World History teachers
• Art teachers

• Curriculum preparation for specific subject area
• General oversight of students
• Homework help
• Supervision of children in classroom, gym, art, playground, theater, computer lab and during snack
• Snack preparation and cleanup
• General cleanup of areas used by after-school

1:00pm - 6:00pm Mon - Tues, Thurs - Fri

12:00pm - 6:00pm Wed

Some additional hours for early release days, vacations and trainings

Starting salary $18-$23/hr for 10 months. Health and vacation benefits available
