Long Term Substitute Music Teacher - Brackett School (March - June 2026)

The Brackett Elementary School is looking for a substitute music teacher from late March through the end of the school year in June 2026. The substitute will work collaboratively in a team of highly motivated and dedicated Brackett School and K-12 Performing Arts Department educators.

The successful candidate exhibits dynamic interpersonal skills to motivate and engage students, and can maintain and enhance enthusiastic engagement in music-making in a safe, supportive, and student-centered environment. A strong background in the major elementary classroom music methodologies (First Steps), singing, and elementary level repertoire and materials is preferred.

Responsibilities of the position include teaching general music classes for students in grades K-5 and leading a before school chrous once a week.
