LOCATION:
Gibbs School, Arlington MA
DURATION:

Middle school math support aims to provide Tier II math instruction and services through a push-in and separate classroom model for identified students.
Qualifications- Mathematics 5-8 Certification required
- Five or more years of successful classroom teaching experience preferred
- Deep knowledge of current curriculums and state frameworks
- Content and pedagogical understanding of middle school mathematics
- Experience differentiating mathematics instruction for all learners Strong knowledge and understanding of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Universal Design for Learning (UDL)
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with teachers, coaches, staff, and leadership
- Experience communicating with parents/guardians about how children learn mathematics
- Ability to analyze student data and familiarity with spreadsheets
- Ability to discuss student learning data with teachers, coaches, and leadership
- Teach two sections of math intervention classes
- Push-in to two to three general education classrooms per day to support identified students
- Teach a WIN block twice per week
