The Finance Intern will support a variety of activities across the Accounting and Treasury teams while gaining hands-on experience with the financial operations of a growing bank. This role provides exposure to general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, regulatory reporting, treasury operations, and other areas of finance. The position is well suited for someone looking to build practical accounting and finance experience and develop a broad understanding of banking operations.

• Support daily accounting operations, including general ledger activity, account monitoring and balancing, and research as needed.
• Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and research of outstanding items.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with tracking operating expenses, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Support quarterly and ad hoc regulatory reporting and internal and external audit requests.
• Assist with Treasury activities and projects, including research and analysis as needed.
• Work with members of the Accounting and Treasury teams on special projects and ad hoc analysis.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Interest in accounting, finance, banking, or financial services.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications preferred.
• Prior accounting or banking experience is not required.

Salary Minimum: 43,680.00 - Salary Max: 49,920.00

The range listed is just one component of Leader Bank’s total compensation package for team members.
