Sr. Electrical Engineer

CCI Engineering & Construction is expanding its workforce and is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and contribute to the design, consultation, detailing, and quality assurance of diverse building projects. The ideal candidate has experience across the full development cycle and excels at collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet quality standards, specifications, and client expectations.

$110,000 - $135,000 annually

• Lead the design, modeling, and analysis of electrical systems using Revit Software
• Provide senior-level technical oversight and quality assurance for electrical designs
• Develop and review designs for power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems, including lighting controls and photometric calculations
• Serve as Engineer of Record, preparing and sealing construction documents as required
• Conduct and oversee field inspections, job site visits, and inspection reports on a periodic basis
• Act as a technical point of contact for clients, ensuring project requirements, schedules, and deliverables are met
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and internal departments to ensure design feasibility, constructability, and regulatory compliance
• Mentor, train, and foster the professional growth of junior engineers and design staff
• Support proposal development, scope definition, and technical reviews

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Active PE License (any state)
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering design
• Advanced understanding of electrical design principles, codes, materials, and construction practices
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects and provide technical direction
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and professional judgment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing interaction
• Thorough knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and applicable electrical codes

Ability to maneuver around work sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co‑workers and clients. Requires maintaining physical condition for bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for prolonged periods; routine lifting of up to 35 pounds; must properly use PPE at all times; constant mental alertness.

Combines office and outdoor site locations. Office exposure to computer screens and extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings include walking, driving, carrying supplies throughout all seasons with exposure to heat and cold conditions. Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and loud noise.
