Job Summary

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the team at Adams Place
, located in Somerville. A PTA provides skilled technical support under a Physical Therapist, delivering physical therapy treatments and related duties to help patients progress toward their goals.

• Must have an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
• Must be licensed in the state where the assistant will be practicing.
• Active membership in state and national Physical Therapy Associations is preferred.

• Provides physical therapy services as directed by the physical therapist and ordered by the physician, following policies, procedures and regulations.
• Assists the physical therapist with evaluation of progress toward goals.
• Observes records and reports to the therapist the conditions, reactions, and responses related to assigned duties.
• Maintains daily records of treatments and documents progress notes as directed by the therapist.
