Home Health Aide (HHA). The Home Health Aide provides personal care functions to the patient in the home under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

• Completion of the ninth grade in school.
• Documentation of successful completion of a Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program that meets the standards of 42 CFR 484.80.
• At least seventy-five (75) hours of training, including 16 hours of clinical training.
• Provision of home health aide services for compensation for at least 24 months without lapse.
• Current driver’s license, car insurance, and good driving record.

Home Health Aide services for content and duration of at least 75 hours of training, including 16 clinical hours.
