Radiology Technologist

Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment, following established standards and physician requests.

• Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as directed by a licensed physician.
• Selects and computes settings tailored to each patient, developing and implementing treatment plans based on hospital protocols.
• Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintains equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in a safe, organized condition.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and collects quality data to monitor standards.
• Completes assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed.

• Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology Program.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R)), or a recent graduate awaiting registry.
• Strong understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning for optimal results.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions, and organize work efficiently.

• ARRT(R) certification, BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state license as required.
• Preferred qualifications include an associate degree in a related field.
