Lead Analyst, Supply Planning (Contract Role)
Position Type: 78 Week Contract
Location: Arlington, TN (Hybrid)
AboutThe Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analyst, Supply Planning to support our supply chain operations. This temporary individual contributor role is ideal for an experienced supply or inventory planning professional who excels in coordinating material requirements, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing inbound material flow.
The successful candidate will work independently with minimal supervision and apply sound professional judgment to resolve complex supply planning challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound movement of materials from suppliers.
- Determine material requirements and ensure timely, accurate coordination of materials across purchasing, production, and engineering teams.
- Manage supplier interactions to maintain efficient and dependable material flow.
- Develop specifications and documentation for new contract orders.
- Lead assessments for strategic bridge buy requirements to ensure continuity of supply.
- Review and analyze planning data to make informed recommendations and decisions.
- Apply advanced knowledge of supply planning principles to evaluate issues and implement solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4+ years of relevant professional experience in supply planning, inventory planning, or supplier management.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while exercising strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Proven experience partnering with cross‑functional teams to resolve supply chain challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate information to make accurate judgments.
- Professional mastery of supply chain planning concepts gained through substantial applicable work experience.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to navigate complex supply scenarios.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working with minimal supervision.
