Forward Deployed Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Duties Develop analytical dashboards and user-facing applications using advanced application layers.

Build and maintain data pipelines, transformations, and metrics within the platform.

Support CI/CD processes, including automated testing and deployment workflows.

Apply ontology concepts to create consistent and reusable data-driven functionality.

Translate technical requirements into well-designed software features and write clean, maintainable code.

Perform functional testing, data validation, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability.

Identify technical risks and blockers, collaborating with senior engineers for resolution.

Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and demonstrations.

Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and project artifacts.

Forward Deployed Engineer

Job Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of professional software engineering experience, with 5 years preferred.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Type Script, or Java.

Experience with Palantir Foundry, including Workshop/Slate, pipelines, and Ontology.

Familiarity with cloud-based environments for application or data solution development.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Comfortable working in a small, collaborative, and fast-paced engineering environment.

Ability to work effectively with senior technical personnel and cross-functional teams.

Experience supporting government, defense, or classified programs is a plus.
