Senior Accountant

Base pay range

$85,000.00/yr - $/yr

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in Dallas, TX
. This role plays a key part in supporting the monthly close process, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and GAAP standards. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly analytical, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

• Own key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate classification of all accounting transactions
• Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries
• Assist with budget vs. actual analysis and provide commentary on material variances
• Partner with cross‑functional teams (e.g., FP&A, Operations, HR) to ensure accounting alignment
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Maintain compliance with GAAP

• Participate in systems upgrades, implementations, and process automation efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
• 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a mid‑size to large company or public accounting firm
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with ERP systems —
  Net Suite experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience in SaaS, manufacturing, or e‑commerce industries
• Familiarity with Net Suite custom reports, saved searches, or workflows
  
  Exposure to ASC 606 or other technical accounting areas
• Prior involvement in process improvement or system implementation projects
