Staff Accountant

SNI Financial has partnered with a new and growing healthcare company seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role works closely with finance and accounting leadership to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial information.

• Prepare and post journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Perform balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Maintain and analyze general ledger activity to ensure accuracy
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to requests
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2-3+ years of accounting experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Exposure to month-end close in a corporate environment
• Experience in the healthcare industry and/or multi-unit operating environments
• CPA or CPA-track preferred but not required
