Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk for the Risk Management team. The role involves basic Accounts Payable administrative functions: processing invoices, approving expense statements, and making deposits. The candidate must maintain a high standard of accuracy and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Enter invoices into the computer and schedule for payment
  • Correspond with vendors to correct invoices
  • Perform invoice reconciliation
  • Approve key expense statements/reimbursements for payment
  • Input permit account entries
  • Make bank deposits
  • Oversee maintenance and vendor insurance set‑up
  • Research all bills to verify that the company owned property at the time of the bill
  • Research past‑due invoices
  • Work overtime when required
Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to accurately process and record a large volume of numerical data
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for the majority of an 8‑hour workday and use hands, arms, voice, and vision (close and peripheral vision required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of general accounting functions
  • Experience with payroll software and data entry
