Starting Pay: $15–$17 per hour, depending on your experience and skill set.

As a General Service Technician
, you’ll help keep our customers safe on the road by performing:

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Multi‑point inspections & documenting vehicle conditions
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Driving vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
• Picking up parts and supplies
• Transporting customers as needed
• Following all safety procedures and reporting any concerns to your direct supervisor
• Supporting team members with other assigned tasks
• Adhering to Sun Auto’s core values and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee Handbook

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off!)

The General Service Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non‑hazardous materials. Temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold. Use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required in these conditions.

• Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and be able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch regularly throughout the day; have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle, or finger objects frequently
• Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
• Communicate with customers and shop personnel
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re‑focus
