Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12+ month hybrid contract in Arlington, TX. This individual will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, application owners, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, disaster recovery teams, and the consulting partner. The role will help establish a measurable, validated, and governed enterprise resilience framework and support development of the multi-year transformation roadmap.
Responsibilities:- Identify and document critical business services.
- Facilitate business impact assessment activities.
- Document service dependencies across people, process, technology, data, vendors, and facilities.
- Map business capabilities to supporting applications and infrastructure.
- Validate service recoverability requirements with business stakeholders.
- Support business impact analysis activities.
- Validate recovery requirements against actual business needs.
- Work with Application Owners, Infrastructure Teams, and Enterprise Architecture.
- Assist in creation of business service dependency maps.
- Analyze resilience, recovery, and dependency data.
- Support creation of maturity assessments and current-state analysis.
- Develop executive reporting and presentation materials.
- Translate technical findings into business impacts and recommendations.
- Coordinate discovery activities and stakeholder interviews.
- Review consultant findings and recommendations.
- Validate outputs against business realities and operational requirements.
- Participate in roadmap and operating model development.
- 7+ years of Business Analysis, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Risk Management, Enterprise Architecture, or Business Architecture experience.
- Experience leading enterprise-wide business discovery initiatives.
- Experience documenting business capabilities, services, processes, and dependencies.
- Experience facilitating executive and stakeholder workshops.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- CBCP, ABCP, CBAP, PMP, PMI-PBA, or similar certification
- Experience supporting resilience transformation programs
- Familiarity with FFIEC, NIST, ISO 22301, or operational resilience frameworks
- Experience working with consulting firms on enterprise transformation initiatives
