We’re supporting a large industrial capital project in the Dallas Fort Worth region and are looking for a Construction Supervisor to serve as the owner’s representative in the field. This role is essential to ensuring that work is executed safely, in alignment with design intent, and in accordance with project schedule and quality expectations.
While the Construction Supervisor does not directly manage craft labor, they are central to field oversight, contractor coordination, and driving consistent communication across project teams.

Key Responsibilities- Work closely with commissioning and completions teams to confirm systems are construction complete and ready for pre commissioning activities
- Ensure contractor work follows approved drawings and specifications while supporting QA/QC with inspections and reviews
- Monitor daily construction activities and collaborate with contractor site leadership to maintain safety, quality, and adherence to design intent
- Provide field based input on constructability, sequencing, and readiness during planning and execution
- Participate in field safety walks and reinforce a consistent and disciplined safety culture
- Track daily progress, identify schedule risks early, and communicate recommended mitigations to the Construction Manager
- Maintain daily logs, redlines, and field change documentation to ensure accurate turnover and traceability
- Confirm contractors have the required manpower, tools, and materials to meet schedule expectations and elevate shortfalls promptly
- Serve as a field liaison between the owner, EPCM, QA and QC, EHS, engineering, and commissioning teams to keep priorities aligned
- Provide coaching and technical guidance to field technicians and junior representatives to support skill development and stronger field awareness
- A minimum of 10 years supervising field construction on large industrial or capital projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, piping, structural, and electrical disciplines
- Experience working directly with contractors, engineering teams, and QA and QC personnel in a field environment
- Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, and construction management platforms such as Procore or Smart Completions
