Project Foreman

We are a General Contractor with in‑house self‑perform capabilities seeking a skilled Drywall Foreman to oversee our drywall crews on commercial projects. The Drywall Foreman will supervise daily field operations, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure our self‑perform work meets the highest safety, quality, and schedule standards.

• Lead and supervise GC self‑perform drywall crews (framing, hanging).
• Collaborate with project teams, superintendents, and subcontractors to align self‑perform scope with overall project schedule.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Assign work, monitor productivity, and manage crew performance.
• Ensure strict adherence to GC safety policies and OSHA standards.
• Track labor hours, material usage, and production rates for self‑perform work.
• Maintain quality control and perform inspections of framing, drywall, and finishing work.
• Support workforce development through mentoring and training.
• Provide daily reporting to the superintendent/PM on self‑perform progress.
• Assist with preconstruction planning for manpower, logistics, and sequencing.

• 5+ years of drywall experience in a foreman or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of commercial drywall systems.
• Experience working with or within a General Contractor’s self‑perform division or drywall subcontractor preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to direct multiple crews.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) a plus.
