- Prepare detailed material take‑offs, design suitable systems, and create isometric and schematic sketches based on blueprints, specifications, submittals, and job orders for a variety of construction projects.
- Engage in comprehensive job planning for work packages, oversee construction/manufacturing schedules, manpower requirements, and ensure optimal staffing levels by leveraging expertise in equipment and tools.
- Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to craft workers (piping trade). Schedule and coordinate activities of assigned craft workers and operation of equipment and machinery. Verify all staff certifications when scheduling personnel on a project.
- Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Eliminate construction and job site hazards and perform required safety observations.
- Coordinate placement and storage of materials, tools and supplies to support the construction plan. Assist in maintaining assigned tool inventory.
- Verify that delivered materials and equipment match approved submittals.
- As required, work with tools to meet construction schedules or other demands.
- Identify conflicts or need for clarification in contract documents.
- Perform other duties as required.
High School Diploma or GED required. Technical training or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
Technical training or Associate’s Degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
5‑7 years of experience as a Foreman Pipefitter preferred.
In‑depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA guidelines.
Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
