Utility Laborer – The Walsh Group – Walsh Construction & Archer Western – Arlington, TX.
OverviewArcher Western Construction, LLC is seeking a Utility Laborer for the Central Water Group / Pierce-Burch Water Treatment Plant Filter & Backwash Improvements. The role involves physical labor on construction sites across commercial, industrial, and heavy civil projects, operating hand and power tools as required, preparing sites, and assisting with other duties.

Responsibilities- Perform tasks involving physical labor as instructed by supervisor.
- Work with crew members and operate hand and power tools such as drills and hammers.
- Clean and prepare construction sites, including erecting scaffolding, removing debris, and digging trenches.
- Load and unload construction supplies manually and with equipment.
- 1 year verifiable experience preferred.
- Ability to climb and balance on scaffolds/ladder.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs; may need to work in adverse weather.
- Complies with all safety policies and procedures; communicates effectively with co-workers and supervisors.
- Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
- Good manual dexterity; can stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
