Tiello has partnered with a well‑established and highly respected commercial masonry contractor with a strong presence across Texas and the broader Southeast. This organization is known for delivering complex masonry scopes on large‑scale commercial projects while maintaining a strong, proactive safety culture. They are seeking a Safety Coordinator to support field operations and reinforce safety standards across active project sites.
Role SummaryThe Safety Coordinator will play a key role in promoting, enforcing, and continuously improving jobsite safety across multiple commercial masonry projects. This position will work closely with field leadership, project management, and executive teams to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and client requirements. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and comfortable being present in the field while building strong relationships with crews and leadership alike.

Job Responsibilities- Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits across multiple active projects
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA compliance standards
- Lead jobsite safety orientations, toolbox talks, and safety trainings
- Identify, document, and correct safety hazards and unsafe work practices
- Partner with Superintendents and Project Managers to implement corrective actions
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and incident logs
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and injuries; prepare reports and recommendations
- Assist with development and continuous improvement of safety programs and procedures
- Serve as a safety resource for field personnel and leadership
- Support client safety meetings and compliance requirements as needed
- 2–5+ years of construction safety experience (commercial construction preferred)
- Masonry, subcontractor, or trade contractor experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety best practices
- OSHA 30 certification required (OSHA 500/510 or equivalent a plus)
- Ability to communicate effectively with field crews and leadership
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and safety reporting tools
- Willingness to travel locally to project sites as needed
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Eligibility to work in the United States
