Construction Project Manager
Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor with a strong and growing healthcare portfolio in the DFW market. They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex hospital projects, including ground‑up construction and occupied renovations. This is a long‑term opportunity for someone who values project continuity, strong relationships, and seeing projects through from start to finish.
Pay Range$/yr - $/yr
What You’ll Be Doing- Manage hospital construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead both ground‑up hospital builds and occupied renovation work in active healthcare environments
- Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, inspectors, and trade partners
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with healthcare‑specific requirements, safety standards, and infection control protocols
- Mentor junior team members and support field leadership
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders in high‑visibility, mission‑critical facilities
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
- Direct hospital construction experience is required
- Occupied hospital renovations / additions experience
- Strong track record of good tenure (project and employer stability matters)
- Experience managing multiple trades, schedules, and budgets on complex projects
- Ability to operate confidently in live healthcare environments
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Must have experience working for General Contractors - not on the owner's side
- Stable backlog of healthcare work in DFW
- Well‑respected contractor with repeat healthcare clients
- Long‑term role (not project‑to‑project hopping)
