Civil Engineering, Site Manager, Estimator
I’m working with a leading employee-owned construction contractor looking to add a Field Engineer to its project team.
This is a great opportunity for someone early in their construction career who wants to get properly involved in the delivery of major projects — working closely with Project Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors and design teams rather than being stuck behind a desk.
What you’ll be involved in:
- Supporting RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and shop drawings
- Assisting with project planning, cost control and budget forecasting
- Supporting Superintendents with day-to-day field execution
- Tracking progress, quantities and production where required
- Helping resolve technical and construction issues on site
- Supporting BIM coordination and as-built documentation
- Working closely with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and project leadership
What they’re looking for:
- Construction, Civil Engineering or related degree OR equivalent field experience
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple project stakeholders
- Good understanding of drawings and construction documentation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office
- Someone who wants to develop into a strong Project Engineer / Project Management professional
One of the biggest attractions here is the long-term opportunity. The business is 100% employee-owned
, with employees benefiting directly from the company’s success alongside a strong benefits package, 401(k), training and clear career progression.
If you’re a Field Engineer, recent construction graduate, or already working on-site and looking for your next step.
