We are seeking a growth-centric, excellence-focused Assistant Editor to join our team.
Candidate must be able to work onsite at our Texas Headquarters (Arlington, TX 76006).

The Editor plays a critical role on the Post-Production Team. The Editor will work on original movie notes, cut downs, promotions, technical evaluation of movies/series and versioning. This role must have previous editorial experience. A solid knowledge of Adobe Suite products, Resolve and Avid are required. Must be extremely organized and able to work without daily supervision. The Editor will work with internal and external producers as they edit various products.

This person must have strong self-direction and motivation.

• Create versions for promos
• Edit in Adobe Premiere, Avid and Resolve
• Mix audio for picture as needed
• Work with After Effects to create graphics for programming
• Collaborate with producers and editors on various projects
• Mine raw media for bites for various projects
• Edit internal videos as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience as an Editor
• General knowledge of a full-service production facility (production, post-production, graphics, and audio) along with general technical & production equipment knowledge
• Strong computer skills are required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop are required
• Working knowledge of Avid and Resolve are a plus
• Willingness to work extended hours is crucial
• Must be able to maintain composure while working in high pressure and fast-moving situations
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and time management skills are essential to the success of this job

This position is in an office environment and will require minimal travel.
